Your job is to call owners of businesses who have indicated they want to sell their business and get them to fill out a Business Profile Summary. I will supply you with lists of people to call. There is no cold calling; these are owners who have asked us to call them. You will normally be calling during regular business hours but may have to call some people in the evening. You will be able to set your own hours.



I will train you, but you need to have some experience in getting through to the owner of a business on the phone. You must have unlimited long distance to USA and Canada, you must have a fax machine, you must have a computer with a reliable connection to the internet as most correspondence will be by email.



There are three main areas of responsibility:



One, you are to email (or fax) to them the Business Profile Summary.



Two, you are to call them back and make sure they got the Business Profile Summary. Make sure they have, or will have, filled out the Business Profile Summary. Also make sure they will have copies of the past five years of business profit and loss statements.



Three, you are to follow up with a “customer service” type of call after I have received the Business Profile Summary and contacted them.



I want someone who will do what ever it takes to get through to all the leads I supply you. This means calling people back, keeping track of leads, calling in the evening or on weekends, and other duties as I will explain. On an hourly basis, you can expect to earn $10 to $20 an hour, or more, because you are compensated on results, not on the time spent.



You will be paid $25 for each Business Profile Summary filled out and sent back with the financial information. You can expect to get an average of ten filled out BPF's per 100 businesses. Some will not fill out the form, others will be skeptical, others will have changed their mind about selling or will be out of business. After all is said and done, you should average at least one filled out BPF's for each hour that you work.



For each business that signs up for our program you will be paid an additional $100. If they are people who are serious about selling their business and actually have something to sell, i.e. they are profitable, then one out of four will sign up. For example, with twelve filled out BPF's, and only one out of four signing up, you will earn another $300.
