Talented Broadcast Animator For Global Television Network

POSITION TITLE: Animator/Designer



In this position you will primarily be responsible for creating and coding all the motion graphics that accompany the Steelroots TV shows. You will also be responsible for creating any motion graphics that accompany promos and other media outside or between the shows.



Major Areas of Accountability:



„X Branding: Working with the Creative Team in creating the look and feel of the company¡¦s website, TV graphics and publications.

„X Team player: Collaborating with the Creative Team, the Programming Dept and the Marketing Dept to effectively meet specifications and deadlines.

„X Production: Assist in-house and outside producers with concepts and design for post-production projects.

„X TV Animation: Openings, bumpers, tag pages, segment graphics, lower thirds, transitions, video treatments and special effects, (mostly 2-D).

„X Web Animation: Headers, tag page graphics, flash ads and promos.

„X New Media Animation: Opening segments, full page graphics

„X Products: Assist in designing and developing multimedia products such as DVDs, sales and product demos and electronic media kits.

„X Design: Design projects will be assigned from time to time. Designer must protect and maintain the brand identity when creating logos, graphic design, color comps, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:



„X 3-5 years of Animation experience

„X Ability to communicate information effectively

„X Teachable, flexible and a quick learner

„X Excellent organizational and time management skills

„X Self-starter, focused, goal-oriented

„X Strong computer skills (After Effects, Dream Weaver, Photoshop)

„X Creative thought process

„X Eye for detail



Salary will be commensurate with experience
