Multi-state freight carrier is bringing programming functions of proprietary web-based database application in-house.



Presently, base stages of web database application are in use and further modules with integration across Company systems is needed.



Programmer will work very closely with Financial Controller & President of Company with support from IT Manager.



We are progressively building software and integrating efficiency changes as a result across our organization. Additional changes are being pursued one at a time as opposed to a dramatic software rollout. There are many objectives to accomplish that require software packages communicating with one another. Henceforth, the ideal candidate will not be "just" a programmer, but be interested in other integration and research functions and be willing and able to learn/coordinate the necessary resources to put changes in place.



Time frame is anticipated to be 3-6 months with possible extension depending on continued success of development.



Requirements:



MySQL experience

ASP experience

HTML / HTML Design Application Experience (For the web front end)

General aptitude towards IT and software applications

Open-minded and works well with changing priorities



Local candidates only working in our office during normal business hours, must be authorized to work in the United States (No telecommuting)
