Job Description :



The Buyer will perform purchasing related tasks associated with current production and new product development and launch to ensure a continuous flow of all parts and materials at the optimum cost and quality to the Corporation. Develop supply strategies and cost reduction initiatives in support of corporate goals. Develop strong commodity and manufacturing process knowledge, as well as an understanding of market conditions and technical trends. Will also aid, support and direct the other buyers when and where needed and coordinate special projects.







Requirements:



Four year BS degree required. Strong Excel and other Microsoft office skills. Strong cost analysis skills. Five plus years purchasing experience. LCC experience. Experience in interior/trim resin or injection molded parts and/or electronics. Automotive and project management experience strongly preferred.



Candidate Must Have :



Four year degree



Experience in LCC sourcing



Strong negotiation skills



Strong cost analysis skills with documented cost savings



Experience in purchasing one of the following commodities: injection molding, electronics, or interior/trim resin. Must have substantial experience in 1 or 2 of these areas
