I go to Anzi all the time. The food is great and not very pricey, a great thing these days in this economy. Me and three friends went to Anzi before a movie next door at Stonecrest Regal Cinemas. We had a cheese pizza with four drinks all for under $20. The food truly tastes great. Plus there are plenty of options, all types of pastas, an extensive variety of pizza, and great bread. The only downside to Anzi is the occasional wait. We had to wait about 20 minutes for our food, but it was well worth it. I would recommend this restaurant to young families looking for a little taste of true Italian food.
We took my family to ANZI on rea road in Stonecrest. the pizza was outstanding. just like New York. also had some diners. the parmigiana was also great. definatelyv would go back. you cant beat the portions forthe price.
ANZI PIZZA TO ME IS JUST OK WHEN THE OLD OWNERS SOLD THE BUNISNESS YOU COULD TELL FOR SURE THE FOOD QUALITY WENT DOWN . THE NEW ANZI IS NOW OPEN IN LOCUST AND SEVERS MORE THINGS THAN BEFORE. YOU GET GREAT SERVICE AND A CLEAN RESTURANT CHECK IT OUT IF YOU ARE IN THE AREA IT IS RIGHT OF 24/27 IN LOCUST !!!
Food is good, but don't ask for any additional onion on salads, they charge
$1.00 extra. Also, was upset that a woman was working behind the counter
with a baby in her arms, should have been reported, baby could have been
burned or hurt, sure this is against the law.
Been to Anzi countless times. I can get garlic knots and 2 slices of pizza for a really good price! Greek salad is AMAZING!!!!!!!! The Chicken Alfredo is phenomenal, and the people are really nice. I don't know why anybody wouldn't want to return. The remodel brightens the place right up and it brings a whole lot more Italian authenticity.
I have been to Anzi's several times... but honestly I dont know why I keep going back. I usually get 3-4 slices of pizzas and a salad (to feed my family of 4) and I end up paying over $30. I can get 3 pizzas from places like Pizza Hut and Papa Js for that price! Grant it the slices are big and the food is more authentic but its definitely not worth the +30 tab.
Garlic knots and bbcue chx pizza are very good... the rest is bland (pepp and sausage pizza, spag with meatballs). I have tried a lot and the only thing I like are the garlic knots and the bbcue chx pizza.
Overall, not worth the price.
went to the one on rea road at stonecrest the pizza was excellent-best i have had since moving. been there three or four times, they just remodeled a bit, lokks nice. great for kids. anyway, the owner was really nice, and i tried the chicken fiorentina with my wife. that and a couple of slices fed us both. great food. youcant beat the amount for the price either.

Anzi Pizza & Pasta has good food, although everything I've had there had a tendency to become tasteless when one's halfway finished eating it. I've had tortellini alfredo and a kalzone there, if that means anything to anyone. So I guess if you eat half of your meal at first, then the other half later, it works. Anyway, the service is good and appreciate the moderate selection of fruit juices.
We ate there and well. We have not been back. The best pizza in all of Charlotte is Tony's Pizza of Ballantyne. No one can compare!!!!!
had an excellent meal there. the portions are so big, probably why you got use to the taste. anyway, it blows away any other pizzeria, bar none. wewent to tonys once, tasted like commercial pizza. Tony's its a francise-probably why.
Tony's is not a Francise. You must not have gone to the one in Ballantyne. The pizza is the closest to home (Brooklyn) I've tasted in NC.
