I have been a customer of Griffin Brothers for years now. My patronage has been at mainly the South Charlotte location but prior to it opening i did visit the North Charlotte and Uptown locations. I have found them to do excellent work at a fair price and most importantly, they are trustworthy. Chris and David, both at the South Charlotte location are two of the most knowledgable automotive guys that i have ever taken my vehicles to. Great selection, honesty, fair pricing, stands behind their work......just an excellent team. Who ever that "Auto Guy" is that wrote that poor review of Griffin, well, he had to be a Yankee.
I visited the one in the University Area in Charlotte, NC. Very unknowledgeable, poor selection. This place has poor service and definitely would not recommend this place to anyone. Stick with your major retailer or a local shop you can trust.
I have an 86 year old aunt that brought her car to the Pineville location to have her car serviced. She paid about $650 to have four struts replaced and a four wheel alignment done. She noticed the mileage was wrong on her bill and the billing was not clear on how she was charged. When she left, she noticed the car was riding the same way and didn't seem much different

I work at the University location, and although I have only been working there since 2009, I would like to sincerely apologize for your dissatisfaction that you experienced in 2008, and would encourage you to give us a second chance. I can tell you for a fact that many things have changed just since I have been employed there, and would love the opportunity to prove to you that we are indeed a knowledgeable and efficient staff. I personally take my job very seriously and enjoy knowing that I am given the chance to make every customer's vehicle that I work on better than it was before it pulled into our shop. I can assure you that if you bring your vehicle to us again we will be thorough and professional, and although I am in no position to make guarantee's on a management level, I would love to shake your hand, look you in the eye, thank you for your business, and promise to give you the best of the best care and service for your car.
