MY NAME IS ANZI, I'M 10 YEARS OLD AND I LIVE IN SHANGHAI, CHINA. ( I AM AMERICAN!) I'VE LIVED IN CHARLOTTE BEFORE, UNLUCKILY I DIDN'T SEE THIS RESTAURANT, SEE YOU!
phil is a massive douche mobile. his wife is leaving him. isn't that wonderful? food is alright though. mad pricey.
STICK TO THE SUBJECT!! SOUNDS LIKE YOU GOT PERSONAL ISSUES WITH THE OWNER O.O.. ANYWAYS!! ANZI's ROCKS!! I love your food and the help! ROCK ON!! \m/
Food is good, however, don't ask for extra onion on salad because they
will charge you $1.00 for it, prices a little higher than most. Also
was upset to see a woman working behind the counter with a baby in
her arms. Should have been reported. I'm sure this is against the law.
I love Anzi. Although I live in Huntersville, my husband and I go to Anzi everytime we are in south Charlotte. I love the penne pasta dish with a spinich cream sauce. You get a half loaf of bread with an entree and its crispy on the outside and warm and soft on the inside. Anzi's food is like my mom's italian cookin', which is a great substitute after moving here from NYC.
I live way across town and make it to Anzi's a couple times a year especially for the Greek Salad with chicken. The absolute best I have ever eaten. If we didn't have such a long drive, I would probably eat there more often. It's alittle pricey, but the portion is huge and I can never finish. Thinking about it makes me want to make the trip right now!
place is great- pizza is the best we have had here.plus the portions are great, you can feed two for price of one
this place just gets better over time, we went again, and now they added new pizzas and new pasta dishes, the chicken fiorentina is to die for. thanks phil for sticking with quality in these hard times
you kidding me-thatplace is alwayspackecd, maybe you had a abd day-cause they havebeen there 11yearsand still rocking, sesame nseeds are on the specialty pies only, not gthe cheese- thats a NY specialty. anyway- i andmany othere disagreewith you greatly
I have been there once. The pizza was terrible and expensive. Although the slices were big, it was like eating a floppy piece of cardboard. Will not go back. And why are sesame seeds on the crust of their pizzas? :(
The food is very good, but I don't understand why I have to pay $28 for one adult and 2 young kids.
Well, after looking again at the menu I do understand. Everything is a couple dollars more expensive that it should be.
I have been going to Anzi's for over 12 years. They give you sooooo much for your money! I really appreciate the ownership being present for most of the daily operation....but like everybody else in the food business they deserve a break a couple times a year. Thank you for being an authentic, affordable and locally owned business dedicated to tantalizing the pallets of us Charlottean's. Great food, dedication and service. Keep it going!!!
